The Funeral Gown

This is the funeral gown - worn by Eowyn for her cousin's funeral in The Two Towers

The gown is designed to fit a Tyler doll from Tonner, but will probably work with other similar sized fashion dolls. The gown is made from a subtly patterned midnight blue velvet. The yoke and undersleeves are made from a shimmery grey crepe with gold highlights. Her underskirt is made of the same grey gold material and her mantle is a slate blue with gold trim along the front. Her 1/2 boots are a medium brown leather.

Her headpiece, broach and belt were hand made with incredible attention to detail.
Every effort has been made to make sure the recreation matches the original - from the split front of the over dress to the detailing on the yoke of the gown - everything is as close as possible.

Her outfit is completely removable - the overdress zips up the back, the underskirt has a wide elasticized waistband, her cape has snaps concealed under the medalions and her boots lace up the front. Her broach snaps into place, the headpiece slips off and the necklace has a hook closure.
